Davos 8: What to watch for at this year's World Economic Forum

The World Economic Forum, also known as the WEF, is a nonprofit international NGO. Established by the International Labor Organization and the World Trade Organization, the WEF offers a variety of free seminars and workshops dealing with a wide range of topics dealing with global issues. Its mission is “to strengthen the economic, political and social infrastructure of global countries.” Its current board of directors and advisers are headed by former prime ministers of Singapore, Brazil, India, Malaysia, Thailand, and South Africa.

In addition to holding workshops and seminars, the WEF also organizes projects, which are aimed at promoting the general interest of sustainable development and environmental protection within member states of the organization. Among these projects include projects devoted to promoting the economic prosperity of developing countries, such as in China, India, and Latin America; projects dedicated to the improvement of the environment and to combating social and environmental injustices; and projects devoted to promoting unity and cooperation among member states. Since its founding, the WEF has grown to over 40 nations. There are many associate members from prominent Western countries such as United Kingdom, United States, Germany, France, Japan, and Australia.

The WEF seeks to improve the quality of life of its members and to aid them in achieving economic growth by providing information and by facilitating dialogue on key issues facing the developing world. This organization believes that economic growth is necessary for peace and social stability. The aim is to provide citizens with the information they need so that they can understand and act upon the opportunities that exist for economic development. For this goal, the organization has opened many forums, particularly in developing countries, to enable civil society to participate actively in the development process.

Through the World Economic Forum, the impact of economic policy and programs can be discussed openly by experts in different fields of expertise. It is possible to give a voice to the concerns of diverse sectors of the people affected by economic policies and programs. By participating in the sessions, you can learn how the policies affect your lives and how they can be modified to meet your needs. You can also learn about the experiences of other participants.

The forum will enable you to share your experiences and provide assistance and knowledge to other people who are interested in economic development. You can also share your own experiences in economic development. Participation here provides an opportunity to learn and contribute towards economic development in your own country or in any other country.

Participation at the World Economic Forum would allow you to gain a deeper understanding of economic development and policies. This will help you understand where you are now economically, where you are going and how you can make a difference. Through participation in international economic activities you can promote transparency in public finances, enhance the performance of the economy and strengthen the . . . . . . national currency. Through these activities you can improve the quality of life for all sections of the population including women and children. The forum is open to everyone who can offer advice on issues of global concern.
